The plot of this film is very fun for the kids because it´s serves as a first and easy approach to the character, basically it´s show you the origin and the motivations that drive him, but in the same time it includes a lot of drama and references that the adults will love. Peter Parker, played by Tobey Maguire, is a nerd of New York who lives with his uncles in the neighborhood of queens, his best friend is Harry Osborn (James Franco) son of the multi-millionaire Norman Osborn (William Dafoe), and his impossible crush is his neighbor Mary Jean (Kirsten Dust). One-day Peter goes to a scientific exhibition and is bitten by a radioactive spider which gives him superpowers, transforming him in to Spider-man, at the same time Norman, the father of his friend, is fired from his own company, fact that will drive him to make a strange experiment, that will turn him in to the green goblin. The motor of the movie is the birth of the superhero and the villain in parallel, fact that the kids love, because now they can know their story in an easy audiovisual format, but in the same time it has the plus to include romantic situations and the drama of the context, thing that the adults like. All of this drives the plot wonderfully, using the cast of characters to create fascinating situations for everyone. For example, how peter will deal with the fact that father of his best friend is his enemy?... or how Peter will make Mary Jean fall in love with him, now that he has superpowers that put her in danger?... Definitely such a great movie for all ages!

If I have to recommend it, I would say that is a must watch to anyone, because it is a revolutionary film when it comes to terms of superhero movies. In that time, the genre was very unpopular and criticized, but with this production and X-Men by Bryan Singer, the public began to understand than the comic films could be great. For this and all the things I told, I would give it a 5/5 stars.
