         <description><![CDATA[<div>Commerce is generally the buying and selling goods and services. The commerce power is the power that Congress has to regulate interstate and foreign trade. Although they have power its not unlimited so they have four explicit limits on the use of the commerce powers: (1) cannot tax exports (2) cannot favor the ports of one state over those of any other in the regulation of trade (3) could not interfere with the slave trade until at least the year 1808.&nbsp;<br>Pg.150</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Congress has several expressed powers related to money such as the power to tax, the power to borrow and currency power.<br>-The constitution gives congress the power to to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.<br>- Article I, section 8, Clause 2 gives congress the power to borrow money on the credit of the united states- no constitutional limits on amount of money and no restrictions on the purpose of borrowing. <br>- Congress also has the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof based on Article I, Section 8, Clause 5.<br>pg.150-153<br><br></div>]]></description>
