It is very hard to change her mind and when you try to convince her she might just end up getting mad. She likes to bring up all of the nice things she does in argument, sure she might be a nice person but that doesn't automatically make her perfect!

When I started to make an effort to change the way I was, I started to like the person who I was.

She had to go through some troubling things through her past, but she was everything that was wrong with her and she needed to realize that by improving on herself.

This relates to the theme because my friend had to go through some troubling things, and that kinda made her the way she is.
