Prior to this lesson I had never heard of the streamline position. I am very happy with how this lesson went and a goal for me in the future may be to see if I can push and glide for more than 5 meters. A challenge which I encountered in this lesson at the beginning was that I was kicking my legs a small bit to go the 5 meters. After some practice I overcame this problem

These two weeks were more challenging than the first week I felt. I found my first week of bilateral breathing to be good but the second week of it to be more challenging. It took me a while to get the technique fully right as sometimes I forgot to alter sides. I hope to keep practicing this technique in the future until I have fully grasped it without thinking twice.

I found these two weeks to be the most manageable, focusing on the legs. I kept my legs as straight as possible while kicking In the water and all the motion came from the hips. One challenge I had at the very start was that my legs were to low in the water and they were not shoulder width apart when kicking. However, I overcame these problems and hope I can stay kicking my legs this way in the future.

I was happy with the previous five weeks of technique so I decided to put it all together for my final week. I felt that this was the most enjoyable week as I was performing everything at once and not focusing on single elements. I was challenged each time I tried to swim the distance but with constant effort and determination I reached my end goal of swimming 50 meters without stopping.
