CTE met with program representatives on 5/4 to consider testing options and needs as well as possible time extensions for certain individuals.
 
Stephanie Mai reports that ISU, CSI, CWI (our testing center), and LCSC are still awaiting administrative approvals and safety plans before they can resume testing - but they will keep us informed of updates as they become available.
However, some skills test scheduling has resumed in the state. The College of Eastern Idaho (Idaho Falls) has restarted test scheduling and hopes to complete testing for eligible students as soon as possible. North Idaho College (Coeur d’Alene) is also hoping to resume testing by May 18. 
Written testing is still unavailable nationally. DHW is currently working with Prometric (Idaho’s written test administrator) to determine when this testing can begin.
 
It was agreed upon that testing extensions will be granted to those who need them. If a student is nearing the 6 month deadline to complete testing, that student will receive an additional 90 days from the date of the re-opening to complete the test.

Each student will be asked to pay for the test up front or provide a copy of the 3rd party billing form when signing up to test.
