She is very welcome that teachers share their opinions on teaching. She holds a meeting with teachers every week (Monday for K1, Tuesday for K2, Wednesday for K3). In the meeting, she asks our thoughts on how the new technology/ device/ teaching approaches work in the lessons and will give advice on the problems that we mention, sometimes, she will seek our own ideas on fixing the problems.

In that video, all the teachers are not simply a teacher with teaching only. There are course designers, group supporters, and momentum for teaching innovation.

I can see there are working in the different groups based on subjects or age-group to discuss how and why to design a less plan without negative comment but with support and trust.

even if I never know who is the principal but I believe this one is a great principal.

Yes. Although the cohort coordinator never done his job and always asks teacher A, his position is not the same as teacher A. he is the superior for teacher A.

No. Although teacher A gather more shoulders in some work, and he may be the main person in some project, for the other teacher, they have the same position in school. There is not the saying of leadership among teachers. It may be a team leader, not have higher position.

In my opinion, Coordinator A is not a qualify teacher leader. Because Coordinator A never take the responsibility to be a leader supposed to have and offer any support to other staff.

From my point of view, Teacher A has the potential to be a teacher leader, but it still depends the role teacher A play in the process of accomplish the task, such as lead, follow or coordinate each other. I don't think so. As a leader, Cohort Coordinator A should not ask his subordinates to help him finish his own work, but he can arrange work for his subordinates.

Although teacher A is willing to finish the tasks. It is very kind for her to do so .

But I think a good teacher leader should also be equipped with the brave to say “NO”.

According to the definition: Teacher leadership refers to those individuals or groups of individuals who are charged with responsibilities for leading school-level change (Frost & Durrant, 2002; Lieberman & Miller, 2004; Harris & Muijs, 2005).
Teacher A shows no responsibility and competence , that is why teacher A can not be called a teacher leader.

according to another definition: Teacher leadership can be broadly defined as “the capacity for teachers to exercise leadership for teaching and learning within and beyond the classroom, to identify with and contribute to a community of teacher learners and leaders, and to influence others towards improved educational practice” (Harris & Muijs, 2005: 18).
Teacher B is kind and helpful, but teacher A didn't contribute to a community of teacher learners and leaders, in my perspective , teacher A is not a teacher leader.
