Over the course of the war, 85 million Americans purchased bonds worth a total of more than $180 billion.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps  was made for the purpose of needing extra help with the war. Many women in WWII provided work for jobs including building ships, fire officers, nurses, etc. about 350,000 women served as uniformed auxiliaries in non-combat roles in the U.S. armed forces.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Japanese had it bad during WWII because the US made camps just for them, they were established during WWII by President Franklin Roosevelt through his Executive Order 9066. It was the policy of the U.S. government that people of Japanese descent would be interred in isolated camps. Japanese Descents were put into this caps for the actions on Pearl Harbor and the ensuing war. The United States rounded up 120,000 people of Japanese people. </div>]]></description>
