At present, administration seems to  come up with their own policies which may vary from other schools. The classrooms need to be outfitted with adequate charging stations for the students' devices and ideally, they should have access to a reliable, high speed internet service.

Financial constraints forced our school to disconnect service with the internet provider which made it difficult for teachers, much less students to connect. This would render the BYOD policy partially obsolete because the devices would not be in use without connection. Currently, some students at our school cannot afford cellphones or tablets and would be left out should BYOD be implemented on its own. As long as the school has a proper internet access students can access information on the web right there in their classroom.
