In the book, The BFG by Roald Dahl, the story began in an orphanage in London, England, where  girl named Sophie is awake in the middle of the night. She gets snatched from her bedroom window by a giant named the BFG, the Big Friendly Giant.  The BFG takes her back to giant country, but he doesn't hurt her. He tells her about the other horrible giants who eat children, or "human beans' as he calls them.  Sophie is appalled by the other giants. Together they form a plan to stop the giants, but first they must find the Queen of England. To find out if they can save London and the world, you must read this book! You won't regret it. Also, the movie comes out on DVD tomorrow! 

This is one of my favorite books because of the humor. The BFG is so funny because he gets his words mixed up. He makes us infer a lot with his made up language. My favorite part was when he drank a bubbly drink which made him whizzpop and fly through the air. It was hilarious!

Do you think Scout the K9 will find a home?Scout is a dog from Ohio and there are three family's who want her . Witch one will she be  adopted by???Also the book is sweet.Next reason you shall read this book is my fave part is when Scout finds a home i did not expect it coming .Last it reminds me when we found a home for a cat that we found on the road

i recommended this book eight and up because when i tryed reading it in second grade i did not understand it i hope you read it .Bye

  1. Hard Luck!First Greg,s Mee Maw died.But she lost her ring when she died.The Family fights about the ring.Greg wants to stop the fight.Greg wants to find it so he can hid it.Then he throow this magic 8 ball.Then he found a egg he new it was the ring!
2I enjoyed this book because it was full of adventure,why because mee maw usedto do fun activities.Also Greg found an egg in the toilet!My favorite was when Rowley got a girlfreind Greg was mad and the boy,s fought.It reminds me of when my grandma died and she lost her ring too.
3.You should read it if you like adventure.I think grades 3rd and 12th should read it.

  1. The characters of the story are BFG, Sophie, Queen, and the mean Giants. The problom of the story is that the Giants are eating people and kids. The BFG takes Sophie to his cave. But can Sophie teach the BFG to say his words right? And the book is righting by Roald Dahl you most see what happens? The BFG is really funny beause how he says his words. Becuse the BFG never went to school so he says his word wrong so there are confusing. My favrite part of the book is whene the BFG snozcumbers and whizzpopped , Snozcumbers are really nasty food that smeels very bad. There were no other food to eat there and he would not eat people. Its funny becuse he drinks this soda and thene he whizzpoppes or toots and  he gos in the air. All aegis 8 and up would enjoy this book. Because it is really funny. It is a really funny book to read I promise.

First, The characters in the book bfg are,sophie,queen of London ,bfg,giants.The problem is that the giants are eating people in the world.But how the bfg met Sophie is the bfg was dream blowing when sophie was awake (At 2:00 she was awake) and when he came to sophie's window. He found her and catches her and takes her away into a different land. Will the bfg work together to save the world from the giants?Well read the bfg by Roald Dahl to find out.Second,Roald dahl when he made bfg it was created by his life because he was in a boarder school. So he made sophie as one too.He created a imagine book and added giants.He also made the bfg language very funny like this"am i left or right"like that.He used very good descriptive writing. My favorite parts are dream land,dream blowing,London.Dream land is where the bfg catches dreams like good,bad,sad.Dream blowing is when the bfg blows dreams in peoples windows when its the witching hour. Sofie was up really late she heard a big slame she went to the window and saw an trash can top read to find out what happens next. next up..It began she saw what she diden't see be for she saw a big black giant it was wthe earing a black cape it was blowing he somthing in a window when she went to go under her blanked. But the giant reached in the window. bfg took her he put her in a pocket she was very scared. then... they were there at a cave it was big she said to the bfg are you going to eat me aren't you the bfg said NO......why would you ever say that no im  not those kind of giant i'm the nice giant . The BFG ,big friendly giant took Sophie his cave.She tries to escape .The BFG tells her there are 9 other giants out there and they would eat human beans .The BFG needed Sophie`s help to stop  the giants from eating people. They had to go to the queen of England .Will they be able to stop the giants ? Read to find out what happens.

 The first reason,I like this book is because the BFG loves Sophie. They're friends and the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) speaks a different language. When he farts he calls it whizz poppers. The author also uses descriptive writing in the book  which helps me visualize what they look like .

The second reason,I love this book is that my favorite part is when Sophie tastes the snozzcumber. She spits it out because it tastes like rotten tomatoes .

The Third reason ,it encourage me want to read more Roald Dahl books and others too.

In the book The BFG by Roald Dahl, The story begins in an orphange in Londun, England where in a village. When sophie gets out of bed and looks out the window the giant grab her from the window and start running with her. The giant said my name is the BFG. she said my name is sophie. Are you going to eat me?" He replied, "No and I don't eat humans. Then why did you snatch me from the village because you saw me that's why I took you so fast. The other giants eat's human and here they coming hide sophie hide. It sounds like you are keeping a human as a pet. Nope no humans here in there never be a human and I'll never, keep a human as a pet so why would you think that for. Because I can smell a human in here somewhere there's no human in here and then they left and sophie came back out and she said that was a close one, yeah. I like the BFG but why do i like the bfg is a book that is funny and i usees good words it has good people they have a problem a very big problem
