One of is being our beloved Ronald McDonald, as the McDonald's franchise was afraid Ronald would hurt their sales more than he would be able to help it at this particular time. But rest assured he will be back as soon as this outbreak is over.  Another consequence is some schools with high numbers of sightings of clowns have banned clown costumes and all costumes likewise.
