The penguin image was using scrunched up pieces of paper and a cardboard shaped base to make the penguin, with potentially paper maché on top on it.

This meant we had to work till the first of December, when the area opened for people to view. 

This meant we only had a couple of weeks to come up with something and present it to the heads of the Winter Wonderland committee the week before the first. Soon I dismissed the summer elements because my animals would stick out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way. I needed to keep with this idea but maybe a different animal that would not take so long.

History:
On March 7th, 2016, Jeb revealed on his Twitter that he was working on a new neutral mob with a base color code of 242, or a very light gray. On April 8th, 2016, Jeb posted a link on his Twitter, stating that this was the so-called "242 Mob". The link showed the image below.

Behavior:
Polar bears are neutral mobs, unless they are around their cubs, then they are hostile. Cubs themselves are passive, making polar bears the very first mob to fall into all three behavior categories. They spawn in Cold Biomes, such as the tundra. Polar bears are also faster than the player when swimming. If a polar bear is attacked, all Polar bears within a certain radius will instantly turn hostile towards the attacking player or mob (similar to Zombie Pigmen and Wolves).

Trivia:
  • Polar Bears can led with a lead.
  • Like the other biome-specific mobs added in the Frostburn update (Stray and Husk), Polar Bears were added in Minecraft: Pocket Edition or Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition on December 19, 2016, with the coming of the 1.0 "Ender Update".
  • Polar Bears are the only mob that exists in all three states: The cubs are passive, the adults are normally neutral, and when approached near cubs, the adults turn hostile.

I found working on the cardboard boxes to be fun and painting them, while time consuming, left the bears looking beautiful and professionally made. I loved how I developed my idea into what it ended up being, and working brilliantly to the time limit.

Weaknesses:

The only weaknesses I found was that the time was very limited. Working only two weeks to get a design and sort that out for the 1st of Decemeber was hard, but it ended up being doable.

Next time:
