This brilliant science fiction story mixed with love, friendship and loss was written by Kazuo Ishiguro in 2005.

It's the story of Kathy, Ruth and Tommy as they grow up and realise their boarding school is more than that.

Beautifully written, although the ending is quite unexpected. It explores the hidden corners of humanity, love and ethics in a world not distant from being just fiction.

Highly recommended for those who question life at its best. *****

Hamlet is a theater and tragedy story. It's settle in the mid age in a kingdom of Denmark. The main characters are the king family. The previous king's son, Hamlet, tries to discover the truth about his father's death. Tries to talk with a ghost that looks like his father, this ghost was saw by the guards of the castle. Later, the actual king sends him to a prison because Hamlet was talking nonsense from one day to another and said he was worried about his sanity. In the prison, Hamlet thinks about his father's death and tries to reach the truth.
The characters are well written, they talk like medieval people. The book have some interesting topics, although you have to pay attention because it can be confusing for the way the characters communicate.
I would recommend it. *****

This fantastic story of the Magic Realism genre, written by Gabriel García Márquez in 1967.
The story centers on the Buendía's family, one of the founding families of Macondo. In this novel we can see the evolution of seven generations of the family over 100 years.
I personally like stories that contain unreal elements. That's why I read this novel and it didn't disappoint.
The novel is wonderful. Although it can be confusing, since the author repeats the names of his characters to the point that you no longer know who he is talking about as in the case of "José Arcadio" and "Aureliano".
Removing that aspect, I would recommend the novel. ****

This book really touch your heart, with the story about the relationship between Viian (91) and Molly (17).

They discovered the things that they have in common. The story is in two tenses, the present, about Molly's problems and that she is working at Vivian's house doing community service hours for her bad behavior. Also the past, when Vivian was one of the girls on the orphan train.

In my opinion, it is a good book that makes you live in your own flesh what those children lived at that time, where hundreds of thousands of children traveled on that train without knowing what would happen to them, becuase that was true.

I can't find a bad thing in the story, because I even liked the ending.
It can be a little difficult to read at the beginning, but after the first few pages it will be hard to put down.

I really recommend it. *****

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. This is the story of a young woman in the 1800's, Elizabeth Bennet.

The Bennet family has five daughters, and in an age where the only thing women could do was marry rich, all the girls are pressured to find wealthy matches to secure the family's comfort. Elizabeth, however, refuses to marry the first man the comes along, and only marry when for love. This book truly has the best of all worlds a wonderful romance, lovable characters, humor, and beautiful writing.

I was so pleased to find that this is not the case with Austen's writing style. I enjoyed every single page of this wonderful novel, and truly did not want it to end! I will certainly be reading more Austen! I would recommend this book to anyone fans of romance, family-oriented stories, comedies, fans of classics, and even reluctant readers of classics who would like an easy gateway into the world of classic novels.
