Discrimination and class has always been around. Social and economic inequalities existed during feudal times and today someone is more likely to get fired for being gay or black than someone who is straight and/or white. Learning how they protested their rights gave me a newfound respect for each group. From the Stonewall Riot to The March on Selma, each way of protesting was different, but they were fighting for the same end goal: equality.
