As I thought I would be in the trades, I streamed into applied/college level courses as that was all that was required. In grade 12, I was able to do co-op for a semester with an electrical company that I would later begin my electrical apprenticeship with. This also came with the ability to partake in Trades school, as it was required to receive a full license. I always had a passion for psychology, and this was a great opportunity for me to pursue something else - although my passion for trades work still exists. This has been a huge change in my life, as I moved far to follow my studies.
