This was Created by Gottlieb Daimler in the year 1889. Located in Germany he was influenced by the steam engine and wanted to provide a way of travel without having to lay down rails. With this he went and created a car. This started out slow but eventually got to the spot were it was today with trucks, motorcycles, and airplanes along the way. The way it worked is that gasoline is released into the engine which causes pistons to activate powering the wheels. Its all steered by the driver. But it also managed its way worldwide were its continued to be used and new models are designed all the time.

This invention was created in 1896 by Guglielmo Marconi and is used worldwide as well. Its used in many things vehicles and just an object in your house. Radios have saved peoples lives in war and even plane/helicopter wrecks. One group of people even got stuck in a volcano and a radio saved them. These of course have also been modified over time but have been getting pushed aside by modern day smartphones. But radios would be better in a survival situation because they have longer battery power and can intercept transmissions. So now you can see the importance of radios and why they weren't just classic for being the only object to tell you the news in that time period.

The telephone seems to be one of the most popular of the inventions that resonates today. Being invented in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell, it has been used for over 100 years. It had a wire that transfered vibrations all throughout the land. But over time it was modified to become the modern day smartphone. Nearly everyone who lives in a developed country has one, and even some people in developing country's have on. It is a rectangular shape with a glass screen on one side and the back has a case attached to it. Inside it has all the mechanical devices. Phones have been becoming increasingly popular and will likely continue to for a long time.

Gun powder is the most used and famous of all explosives. The powder was created in the 10th century by a€. Even though its not used in that many modern explosives it was very important in earlier and modern wars. Its used in weapons that soldiers have and all these weapons were used to fight towards something. An example of this could be a american soldier fighting for his country. Anyway, it looks like a grayish powder. "Modern gunpowder (usually called black powder) is a mixture of sulfur, saltpeter (potassium nitrate), and charcoal. Saltpeter usually makes up 75 percent of the mixture, sulfur makes up 10 percent, and charcoal makes up the remaining 15 percent" . And as soon as its lit, it burst. With its big role in history gunpowder is going to have to be one of the best classic inventions.

Here we have another invention by the mesopotanians in 2000 B.C. Its something still used in our modern time and even similar practices. The similarity is that its still molded into different shapes using basic tools. Glass can be transparent but also in a variety of colors. This substance is created by heating sand to an extreme temperature. From there it can be melted and molded into a huge variety of shapes. "Today, glass is used in a variety of ways, from the creation of sculptural works to intricately designed vessels". This substance is expected to be used for much more time.

Photography is a "method of recording the image of an object through the action of light, or related radiation, on a light-sensitive material". It was created in 1887 by Thomas Alva Edison and used chemicals in the 19th century to develop a image off what is known as film. It was one of the things that lead to a often used application on our phone called the camera. Life these days without a camera would be completely different, especially with social media.

It can come in the form of a thick liquid or a solid bar and can be in a variety of colors. What it does is it cleans an something (mainly people) and gives off a scent according to who buyers interest. Its and item that was used for over 2000 years and will most likely continue on for a long long time.

It caused death rates to go way down and even bring up the life expectancy of everyone who got them. A vaccination is a syringe with medicine inside. They inject it right into your bloodstream which lets certain things that would be harmed by your stomach acids pass through into your body. It may hurt but it sure does make up for it.

This classic invention was created long ago in 2000 B.C. during the time of the Mesopotanians. This invention is still used 4000 years later and most likely will still be used for a long time. This item is used to lock something up, and the only way you can open the lock is with the key. Every key was different so nobody could use the keys to their own locks to open other peoples. So with this, people could keep important stuff from being stolen.

The steam engine was created by Thomas Savery, who lived in England, in the year 1698 and was a huge success. It provided a way to get a lot of people to a certain area really fast for that general time. It was a ride many people could fit and transport materials with its many cars. What powered it was a big engine at the front that was powered by steam. Pressure would build up in certain chambers and cause the wheels to propel forward. Rails for these were built everywhere and soon they started adding new technology. Although modern trains aren't powered by steam, they are what started it all.
