Thank you thank you thank you for all you bring to CoorCom. Your wisdom, historical memory as our longest standing member, and organizational skills are so appreciated. I looked to you so many times when I was unsure about things and deeply appreciate the steady, present, and committed energy you bring to our meetings and work. I so enjoyed being on CoorCom with you & having breakout room conversations! I appreciated learning more about Policy's work and benefitted from the thoughtful questions you always brought to any topic being discussed. I especially admire how you organized us all to remake the orientation process at the last minute. And you were a welcome calm and steady presence during our meetings. I hope our paths will cross again in SURJ-maybe even in person! 😍

Thanks so much for thinking deeply and thoughtfully about CoorCom's work and voicing your views. You often shared insights that made me reconsider issues and broadened my perspective. I appreciate your taking over monitoring the SURJ Leads List and making sure key items reached all of us, in addition to maintaining CoorCom's relationship with Paul. Also, thanks for modeling great facilitation skills. So glad to have been on CoorCom together & hoping we'll have more opportunities to work together. 😍

Thanks for always being straightforward, engaged, and fun to work with! You've patiently helped me with many communications questions and demonstrated leadership both on CoorCom and in the R3S campaign. I appreciate your ability to think outside the box and your push to encourage all of us to take a break and prioritize self-care. Looking forward to our final organizing wrap-up with Jordan & hoping we'll continue to cross paths in SURJ. My one regret is that we never got to hear you play accordion. One day, I hope! 😍

Dear Amanda,
You are such a rock star! Your facilitation of online events--from Anti-Racist Ancestor Organizing, to the latest All-Com for Abolition and Economic Justice is so focused and on point. Your leadership in our committee is so caring, grounded, and thoughtful. Thank you for being a guiding star in your own right. Dear Rachael,
I really appreciate your super fun, and welcoming vibe. I was really moved by your thoughtfulness and perspective around Repeal 3 Strikes. It helped remind me that change is ok, and a necessary aspect of organizing with integrity. Thank you for centering the radical nature of rest. I second Lisa, about the accordion!! No one has ever introduced themselves as a middle-aged white lady at a meeting and made it sound and look so cool. I am older than you and its downright inspiring. You brought the funk, and the finesse.

Dear Michelle,
I am finding myself overwhelmed with warm emotions on this appreciation padlet, and so much of that has to do with the way you model appreciation and relationship building in our meetings! The care and effort you have taken in transitioning new members into CoorCom, and innovating the onboarding process blows me away. You are receptive, present, brave, and CREATIVE. Incredibly grateful for our time spent together--may it continue in the future!
