We determined that following the CRA model paired with Nelson diagnostic, The Super Source resource and other resources already in practise helped consolidate conceptual understanding and move students forward. We actually used the following day to co-teach together. We ran a guided math lesson with centres, where I was able to successful use technology, hands on activities and the pre-assessment. I really like how the pre-assessment gave me some focused guidance on what my students know and remember and what we need to review. MPower is pretty engaging and fun... Students love it. Knowledgehook also serves as a great tool for engaging students. There is so much to explore and so many wonderful resources available. It was hard not to extend the learning opportunities infinitely - there was so much that we were excited about.
