         <title>Working with my grade level partner allowed us to use moderated marking to reflect respond and assess the students work and the use of the new tools such as Nelson Pre assessment and knowledge hook. We determined that following the CRA model paired with Nelson diagnostic, The Super Source resource and other resources already in practise helped consolidate conceptual understanding and move students forward. Also using cross curricular activities allowed for time management and continue work with students who needed the extra guided practise.</title>

         <title>The highlight was definitely having the time to sit with a teacher and look at Curriculum Expectations and explore various resources that would support learning. I walked away with an entire unit plan. Although the unit will continue to evolve in response to my students&#39; strengths and needs, I feel confident about teaching it because it was co-planned.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I really enjoyed the opportunity of sitting down with my SAT for a day and planning out an entire unit! We actually used the following day to co-teach together. We ran a guided math lesson with centres, where I was able to successful use technology, hands on activities and the pre-assessment. I really like how the pre-assessment gave me some focused guidance on what my students know and remember and what we need to review. MPower is pretty engaging and fun... Students love it. Knowledgehook also serves as a great tool for engaging students. I found my own professional learning on this day to be very helpful and beneficial :)</div>]]></description>

         <title>The challenge in co-planning a unit were the time restrictions. There is so much to explore and so many wonderful resources available. It was hard not to extend the learning opportunities infinitely - there was so much that we were excited about. It&#39;s also hard to know which resource will best suit the varied  learning needs and styles in our classes. Access to tech can be a challenge too. </title>

I like that you can customize the Knowledgehook questions as well to suit your program and bundle questions together to make for more meaningful learning experiences. I also like how the questions get scrambled so students can't copy off of their peers!</div>]]></description>
