His father, a famous boxer, was killed by a local criminal authority. Matt himself after the death of his father began to work as a messenger with the local low-level detective Foggy Nelson. It tells the story of ordinary children, teenagers who do not remember anything from the past, except the name. The main character is Thomas. The story takes place in a giant complex, fenced off from an even larger maze of walls that move apart in the morning and shift in the evening. Every month, on the same day and at the same time, there comes an Elevator with a "Outhouse", and easier - a newcomer. Also, the Elevator comes with food, tools, etc. Children already settled here, distributed duties, someone grows up plants, and someone runs on a labyrinth, looking for an exit, under the threat of life. But at some point appears Thomas is the main character of this story. After his appearance begin to happen strange events begin to happen  that day, the grievers (the local dangerous creatures) attacked, here comes the first girl is the last "shipment" from the creators of this maze. And then Thomas actually staying the night in the maze from which no one stayed there overnight, did not come out. Will he be back?
This book with an unpredictable plot, interesting and beautiful (well, where without it) characters. The author plunges us into the world from the first page, you, along with the characters trying to guess the mystery of the maze. Some characters you love and some on the contrary, I want to crush.
I would definitely recommend this book. Especially if you like adventures, fiction and beautifully written descriptions. By the way, for the lazy, there's a movie.

This is an adventure story and science fiction. The famous Alex Tolstoy wrote it enjoyable.

Taras Bulba, has two sons, Andriy and Ostap. Taras Bulba's two sons, Ostap and Andriy, return home from an Orthodox seminary in Kiev. Ostap is the more adventurous, whereas Andriy has deeply romantic feelings of an introvert. While in Kiev, he fell in love with a young Polish noble girl. Then they set out on an adventure with Taras to the Zaporizhian Sich , where they join other Cossacks and go to war against Poland. But Andriy betrayed the Cossacks and Taras killed him( killed his son). Taras and Ostap continue fighting the Poles. Ostap was captured, while his father is knocked out and fighted. Ostap was died too. It was a terrible news for all Cossaks.
