I would know if someone isn't interested in me, because they wouldn't treat me right or like me. Something i would do to let others know that i am not interested in them is by not being kind or not treating them right. I wouldn't be to mean but i would show through my actions that i am not interested in them.

To know if someone isn't interseted in you, you would have to analyze their behaviour towards you. If they don't behave more in a special way then you can conclude that they don't think of you more than a friend, but if they try to get closer to you and want to try to know more about you , then you can conclude that they have feelings toward you.To let someone know that I am not interested in them is that I would try to distance myself away from them and even ghost them if they believe that they could be more then my friend.

I can tell that someone is not interested in me by their body language, the way they text me, if they start being distant, and how they talk about you to other people.

I think you would know that somone is not interested in you by their behavior around you or their body language. To make sure that they are aware that you aren't interested in them you would want to show some ignorance towards them or signs that indicate that you don't care about them.
