         <description><![CDATA[<div>The impulse is force x time and momentum is mass x velocity.  Something with less time will have less time to distribute force evenly and will be damaged more on impact. Momentum is another way to say inertia in motion. More mass=more inertia and more velocity is the same. <br>It would be much less painful to be hit by the car if it was either less mass, was going slower, or if it had more time to slow down.  </div>]]></description>
