The activity that i did that made me proud was myself being able to make the game change room/reset the level when the player got killed.

Improve:What improvements do you need to work on?

Know: The activity that helped me to create a level of my game was by me getting help from my teachers, classmates and from YouTube videos.
What do you know that you didn't know before? When I was doing this task, I learnt that I takes a lot of work and time to make just one level of a game and if you want to make a whole game you should be putting in a lot of dedication and time into the game unless if it’s a game like flappy bird or another mobile game like that.

Do: The new skills that I applied to my level of my game were being able to use DnD a bit more confidently than when I first went on it to test out other creators’ games.
What did you do that you are proud of? I am proud myself being able to use someone else as a guide of how to use the basics of GameMaker2 DnD and by myself using that I created a level of my game and the basic controls for my game.

Improve: The improvements that I could add into my game is to have an icon that shows the score of the player after every kill that they get.

Week 3: Task 3: Pre-Production - GameMaker, Drawings, Animation & Sounds

The skills that i gathered from the lessons were about knowing how to use GameMaker2, how to animate, how to edit sounds and how to draw better than we could before the lesson. What do you know that you didn't know before? Before i did this week i wasn't really comfortable about using GameMaker2, i got taught how to use GameMaker2 by Kelly and i did some work on GameMaker2 with Richard after i had finished my designing on my player.

The new skills that i learnt from doing these sessions in week 3 task 3 helped me get more comfortable with using GameMaker2,a website called Piskel which helped me to design my player for my game and i also learnt how to use Audacity properly.(Audacity is a editing software for sounds)
What did you do that you are proud of? The work that I'm mostly proud of is being able to make a game somewhat comfortably, i also actually enjoy making designs for characters and players i also feel that I could edit my chosen sounds pretty easy if i pay enough attention to it.
On Monday, with Kelly we went on Game Maker 2 and we made a test game with different characters to our actual game that we’re going to make, I nearly made a game when you had to kill aliens while in a spaceship. When I was making the game while using drag and drop (DND) it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I know how to use Game Maker 2, somewhat from Monday’s lesson which is a good skill to start learning because it could help me create games easier if I know how to use Game Maker 2. The new skills that I learnt from Monday were to be able to kind of use Game Maker 2 and to be able to use DND.

On Tuesday, I had English and maths then I had a session with Naveed doing more work on the sound for my game, while I was in that session we had a partner and we and to assess their work and what their game was about and what they needed to improve. The new skills that I got from having Naveed on Tuesday were that it helped me to improve on my skills.

On Wednesday, We were with Richard changing more on our game character designs and we had to make a background for our game which took a while to complete. A new skill that in learned from

On Thursday, We were with Naveed completing our sounds and possible songs for our game I also went on to Audacity which is an application where you can edit your sounds and songs for certain reasons, for me I went on to Audacity to edit how long each of my sounds should be and also changed some of my sounds that I didn’t like which wasn’t too long to finish. When I was using the sounds that I had found I had to make sure that it was an mp3 so that it could be used and noticed by Audacity.

The work that i was proud was me being able to research about retro games and newer games.

•Show: The way that I presented my work was by adding it to a PowerPoint and adding it to Showbie.

•Improve: The improvements that i could've done would be to make my PowerPoint look more appealing and i could make my designs look better.
The skills that i had learnt from the my session that i will use in my next session will be me using my skills in GameMaker2 and being able to draw better than i could before i got taught by Richard.

•Know: On My first day, we got put into our classes, there were classes 1 and 2, I got put into class 1 which was a good thing because I already somewhat made some friends while waiting for other people to arrive to the room and after we got told about the course and who were our teachers. After that we went to another area where there were Mac PC’s, board games and tables this is where I met one of my friends while playing this board game. This activity helped us to improve on skills like being able to work better in a team and communicating with other people that we don’t really know, one of the last things that we did was to set up all of our things on the Mac PC’s while we were on the PC’s we set up our Pro Portal and other things.

These activities helped me to be able to approach people easier that I don’t know, before I did these activities I wasn’t comfortable with random people that I don’t know/ not familiar with them and I also learnt about using ProPortal, etc.

•Do: The new skills that I had learnt helped me to meet new people easier than before, the new skills that I used is able being to move towards people that I’ m not really familiar with and it gave me a bit of confidence with using ProPortal etc.
When I was playing the board game with my new friends, one of the things that I achieved while doing this activity was myself winning the whole game of the kid's version of Monopoly and I also felt good about myself when I was one of the first people to set up their ProPortal.

•Improve: The improvements that could’ve happened were to show more enthusiasm when talking to people especially new people that I didn’t know.
