I made this artwork in Life Drawing Class taught by Professor Dowley using black, white, and grey charcoal and a reference picture on a 19 x 25 medium grey paper. This artwork shows me in my bedroom holding onto two fighting sticks and pretending that I'm being a fictional character like Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

I was prompt to take different pictures of myself showing my whole physical body including my hands and feet to create a still-life portrait of myself. First, I decide which picture I like the most. Then, I email my favorite still life picture to Professor Dowley and he grids it on Photoshop. Next, Professor Dowley prints a physical copy of my best still life picture and gives it to me. Lastly, I grid my picture on a 19 x 25 medium grey paper, map out my still life portrait on the grid, and add black, white, and grey charcoal to highlight the shading.

I made this artwork on Photoshop back in high school during Digital Art class.

The theme of this artwork represents characters who stalk the night and this artwork features Batman, Sly Cooper, Daredevil, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I made different variants for fun so I play around with the colors so it can match the darker and grounded tone. My favorite part about making this artwork is that I mostly use different shades of blue for Batman, Sly Cooper, and Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle not because blue is my favorite color, it's just that blue can be represented in different tones like the feeling of depression and the feeling of confidence and responsibility. Plus, Batman wears a Blue & Grey Batsuit in the comics, Sly Cooper wears Blue Clothing including a hat and shirt, and Leonardo wears a Blue Bandanna. I even made a Red Artwork Variant to celebrate the upcoming release of The Batman, which released on March 4, 2022.

My process for this artwork is that I sketch the artwork on a 8.5 x 11 paper using a blue pencil, then I apply ink to the artwork, next I scan the inked artwork to photoshop and make adjustments to the artwork, and finally I start adding color to the artwork.

I made this artwork on Photoshop back in high school during Digital Art class.

The theme of this artwork represents the moment I discovered that Ezra Bridger from the Star Wars Franchise had character inspirations from Aladdin and Daniel LaRusso from The Karate Kid around the time Ezra Bridger made his character debut in the animated Star Wars series, Star Wars Rebels.

This artwork features Aladdin, Daniel LaRusso, and Ezra Bridger as the main protagonists while it also features Genie, Mr. Miyagi, and Kanan Jarrus as the sidekicks. I made this artwork into a Star Wars-Inspired Artwork because I want to make the tone exciting and suspenseful while the characters are in action. My favorite part about making this artwork is having Aladdin and Daniel LaRusso looking down at Ezra Bridger as a way of how I would represent a celebrity welcoming a new person, who was inspired by that famous person.

My process for this artwork is that I sketch the artwork on a 8.5 x 11 paper using a blue pencil, then I apply ink to the artwork, next I scan the inked artwork to photoshop and make adjustments to the artwork, and finally I start adding color.

I made this artwork of Batman on a 9 x 12 inch Bristol Paper using pencil, ink pens, and caliart dual-tip brush markers.

I made the proportions and visual appearance of Batman inspired by Robert Pattinson, who played the character in The Batman by making Batman's face looking like a young man. The artwork shows the upper half of Batman's physical appearance from the face to the chest. I also added Blue around the cape and cowl as another inspiration from the Batman: Hush Comic where Batman also wears a blue and grey batsuit. I really like making this artwork because I added blue highlights around the proportions and how I constructed Batman the way I wanted him to look like.

My process for making this artwork is that I take out a piece of 9 x 12 inch bristol paper, make the rough sketch of the character along and the body construction using a pencil, draw the visual appearance of the character with a pencil, outline the sketch using an ink pen, and added caliart dual-tip brush markers to add color.

I used inspiration from the 90's Animated Spider-Man TV Show by adding shades of red around the character and even added darker red to make the shadows. I also added yellow zig-zag shapes to make it look like Spider-Man is using spider-sense to detect danger.

I like that mandalorian suit a lot because the armor is very shiny and it's the defenitive appearance of The Mandalorian.

So for me in this case, I use inspiration from the 1987 and 2012 TMNT Animated Shows on Raphael. I also drew Raphael's hand and weapon that he wields, which is the twin sais, so the audience can determine which turtle is which.
