Terms such as authoring tool, SCORM, LMS, PHP and HTML5 are not terms that the average student or teacher understand. However, it is not necessary to be a computer programmer to make an e-learning thanks to the plethora of downloadable software programs. Computer requirements include a current windows operating system along with both a flash player and WinZip or similar program.

Learners were required to review the physiological signs of sepsis and then make patient observations to recognize the early warning signs of sepsis and how they would handle the situation.
