It is not directly related to CRT but it bothers me very much that gifted programming is in danger in the name of equity. Getting rid of gifted programming is not equitable at all. Yes, better, more inclusive identification practices need to be put into place but wiping out programming is not the answer.

The article on 2E was validating because I can never find good resources which actually specify enough about how we can mesh the worlds of IEP/504 and GAL. As a SPED by training, the resources lack specificity which could allow SPED teams to implement while also balancing the requirements of IDEA and Section 504.
