What does social mobility allow Singaporeans to have?
- Social mobility, movement of individuals, families, or groups through a system of social hierarchy or stratification.
= Lower income Singaporeans can have a higher-socio status.

What problems in the society do you think the lack of social mobility would cause?
-  People may find it unfair and get discriminated due to the difference in class.

Why do you think it is important that the problems caused about by the lack of social mobility is handled?
-  Inequality may income a sharper and more brittle issue when stagnation in the middle class happens.

It allows them the opportunity to change their status and move between ranks by improving through enough effort

What problems in society do you think the lack of social mobility would cause?

It could cause the people to be separated into social classes and begin class based discrimination. It would be particularly strong between the next generations that would not have done much to be born into their families yet be judged in the same way.

Why do you think it is important that the problems caused by social mobility is handled?
