Hi, everyone! I'm Carla, 37 yo. I was born, raised, and still live in Salvador-Bahia.
My motivation to be a teacher is similar to Monike's; it gives me great pleasure to see and know I was able to help my students achieve their dreams. I've been working with academics for years - professors, students, and researchers - and every milestone they reach using English, from publishing articles to traveling abroad due to getting a grant or scholarship and everything in between and beyond, I know I had a hand in that and it makes me proud of them. Hello there! I'm Felippe, 43 years old. I was born and raised in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo (not counting a 'brief' stint of five years as an infant in Aquidauana, MS).

I've been an English teacher for the past 25 years, and what motivates me is knowing that I can help people achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams. Also, the more academic aspect of language acquisition and learning also fascinates me, which drives me even further to best myself and become the best teacher / trainer I could possibly become.

Hey, there! I'm Lucas, and I'm 28yo. I was born and live in Manaus, Am, but I was raised in the countryside, a small town called Parintins, known for holding the stunning folklore festival. Despite my age, I've been teaching for quite some time (13 years), and what motivates me is the power being in a classroom provides me with for changing the world through education. I've been able to help people who, like me, needed English as a way to change things around and to impact our communities positively.

Sandro Dwarffy here. I´m so excited I´ll turn 38 in a few weeks! Born and raised in Rio, I´ve always absolutely loved being able to make a real difference in ELT. I´m also a TOEFL iBT coach, teacher educator, speaker and writer, and founder of TOEFL Success. I´ve been proudly active in the Education industry for 20 years now. Designing and delivering engaging, insightful as well as challenging TOEFL prep lessons so that candidates can sharpen and master test-taking skills, and consequently thrive in their academic and professional lives are some of the things that greatly encourage me to do better and better every day. Hi everyone! I’m Elis, 50 years old. I'm from Ibitinga, in the state of São Paulo and I’ve been teaching English since I was 20. Learning this amazing language has changed my life in so many positive ways that it makes me really happy to help others experience the same through English. And this is exactly what keeps me motivated! I’m also a big believer in lifelong learning, which only makes me more excited about teaching.
