1)Yes, I enjoy reading as it takes me on another world with the author. I can also understand the author's feelings. Reading can expand our general knowledge about things

2) Yes. I do agree with the statement as reading can help us in many different ways. It expands our vocabulary, ehich can help us communicate with people efficiently. This also helps us with our general knowledge of the world, which helps as the world is constantly having news that appears almost everyday.

3) Our school could hold interesting activities that would interest students. They could also put in some attractive prizes. 1)  -one of my favourite memeories is when my family and i went to batam .
-it was amazing becauseit was the first time we went to batam 
-we explored different place and ate  different foods
-we take photos and vidoes to remember the moments we have together

2)-i would want to go to paris 
-paris has many places to visit such as the effiel tower.
-i have always wanted to travel with my family to different places.
-we could playgames such as monopoly,chess and many more
-another way is to bake or cook together
3)-i have learned to perservere .
4)-i would tell them taht we should do something than use our phones.

IN THIS CASE, THERE MAY BE PRECONCEIVED IDEAS ABOUT WHAT THE ELDERLY CAN OR CANNOT DO.
WHAT PRECONCEIVED IDEAS DO YOU HAVE ABOUT THE ELDERLY?
Preconceived idea means ‘an idea or opinion formed before having the evidence for its truth or usefulness.’

1) I have quite a few preconceived ideas about the elderly.
->they don’t have any talents
->they can’t really do anything
->they end up in a care home because they do have any family or people that care for them
( I think this way and have these ideas because of the way they appear to me.)

2] THE ELDERLY OFTEN BRING WITH THEM A WEALTH OF WISDOM AND EXPERIENCE. WHAT AREAS IN SCHOOL DO YOU THINK THE WISDOM OR EXPERIENCE OF THE ELDERLY WILL BE BENEFICIAL TO STUDENTS?
Beneficial means resulting in good; favourable or advantageous.
Having a wealth of / in something means to have a lot of that particular thing.

2) I think in major areas like;
->Arts
->Mother Tongue
-> History
->Whatever their good at.
(Like sewing.)
( I chose these areas because as they are older, it means that they have seen more and heard more than us younger ones. Their era and our era is very different in many things, like the history and the technology and the jobs.)

3] SOMETIMES EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO SUIT THEM. WHAT ARE SOME EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES IN THE HOME THAT WILL PROBABLY NEED TO BE MODIFIED FOR AN ELDERLY PERSON?
Modified means ‘ to make partial or minor changes to (something)’

3) There are many things that I think need to be modified:
->Activating the washing machine.
->Cleaning the house with something electrical like a vacuum or an automatic vacuum.
->Cooking using an electrical item such as a microwave/ oven/ electrical stove.

4] OLD AGE MAY SOMETIMES BRING A MIXTURE OF HAPPINESS AND SADNESS AS MANY ARE LESS MOBILE OR MAY HAVE DIED.DO YOU THINK IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHERE THEY GET TO INTERACT WITH OTHERS, SUCH AS IN VOLUNTEERING OR WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS? Why do you say so?
Being less mobile means ‘not capable of moving or being moved’

4)Yes, I think it is important because:
->they are more active if they are included in these kind of activities.
->they will be more happier
->they will be able to talk and interact with people.
Why do you say so?
-> This is because if they are happier, they are more willing to do things, and if they are able to talk to people and interact with them, their emotions, stories and knowledge would not be bottled up and hidden away.
