If we are going to be in a metropolitan area where we will have to walk or use public transportation, we will need to know where to go. If we do not speak the language, you can use the map to orient yourself so that we can find the way to our destination.

Communication experts say that about 80 percent of communication is nonverbal. Consequently, they are likely to understand more than you think just by being attentive.(NOT IN ALL COUNTRIES THE SIGNS HAVE THE SAME MEANING).

1)_Invest in a good dictionary and phrase book so that we can communicate, even if we are at the most basic level. These two simple tools can be very valuable and will help us a lot when we go to a foreign country where they do not speak the language.

#Bring our phrase book wherever we go. While it is no guarantee that we will understand what others say, it will help us in some cases to communicate basic concepts when we ask for a meal or need directions.
