After this whole disaster the state of Hawaii wanted to make new safety features and positive outcomes of this tsunami. Since this tsunami was big enough to destroy plants and buildings they made boulders that were 50 feet so then the water would not destroy as much and the boulders would protect everything from being hit. Hawaii also used warning systems to warn the people of the tsunami headed towards them so not as many people would get hurt or killed. Hawaii improved there material the used on buildings, operations of navigating people to safety and, used better equipment to save the people and buildings. Scientist learned that more earthquakes and tsunamis occur around Hawaii and southern america so then this causes earthquakes to make tsunamis and destroy thousands of buildings, people, and plants.
