La materia orgánica se descompone de manera aeróbica (con oxígeno). Esta puede ser formada por diferentes tipos de residuos orgánicos, como restos de frutas, vegetales, heces de animales, hojas, cascaras de huevo.
*Durante el desarrollo de esta actividad puede evidenciar y poner en práctica el adecuado uso que se le deben de dar a los residuos que se generan en mi vivienda, para así de esta forma poder contribuir al cuidado del medio ambiente.

 *Durante la construcción del compostador casero puede evidenciar, que el compostador es un método de reciclaje muy práctico y económico donde se le da un excelente uso a los residuos orgánicos que se generan en las viviendas
