Hi, look who's here! Welcome to my wall! 💙

I am Allan Rene P. Tibug, or you can call me Allan. But, feel free to call me anything like Albert or Art🥰. I was born on December 1, 2006, I am 17 years old turning 18 this year. I am a scholar studying at Ateneo de Davao University, with dreams of becoming a doctor. Although it is a long run, I am up for it. Some say that I am too friendly and sociable but what makes me unique is am an ISTJ. We are five in the family and I am the youngest. My favorite color is light blue like the sky ⛅. I have four fur babies and I love animals which I tend to help by volunteering in animal shelters. I am a youth leader and I volunteer in leadership programs that advocates about child's rights and the environment. I am a writer and a student journalist with hopes of publishing my works one day.

With all of that things I do, I can say that as a Sagittarius, that I am optimistic, lively, curious, passionate, and open minded. With these characteristics in mind, I often enjoy my journey to discover new things ahead of me.😁😲

Taking pictures has been a hobby of mine since young, If I would to tell stories to others. I often do it with photos I took. Since pictures can tell stories and the history behind it. With every picture I take I find comfort in it and make it as something memorable.

Badminton

Ever since elementary, I have found the interest in playing Badminton. Although I also play other sports like Volleyball and Tennis. Badminton has always been my love in playing, alongside of it being a hobby, I have joined tournaments like interschool plays. It has been almost a year since I last competed and trained but time to time I still play this sport.

As a bookworm, I am an avid fan of reading and collecting books. My mother told me that in reading you can expand your knowledge and develop a habit. Personally, I prefer physical books than ebooks, since nowadays people are more fond of the digital copy. But the smell of a new book is what excites me the most. I am a fan of classics books especially novels that show interesting topics like issues in the past, with the books I have at home I can say that I've read quite a lot.

Hiking and camping have been my hobby as something when I need to be away from the busy life, hiking gives me a sense of comfort from everything that is in the path, especially when you reconnect with nature. Facebook is one of my most used social media account, I have been with Facebook for almost eight years. I am one of those people who cannot start their day without opening this, I can say that I mostly stay with this throughout my entire day. Although I am the type that doesn't usually post around much. This platform is what I use to connect, get information, and get updates from the current happenings in the world. But, be aware not all things in here can't be trusted! Since fake news is always around the corner remember to fact-check! In line with the Facebook itself, the Messenger is what keeps me connected through other people. Messenger is more easier in terms of communicating online.

Music is something that I find comfort and makes my mood. I often use Spotify to do chores, while walking, and even sleeping⏰. Spotify is an application software with different songs and podcasts from various artists. Nowadays, I love listening to early 2010 songs which reminds me of the nostalgic feelings from before, like A Sky full of Stars by Coldplay and Breakeven by The Script.

I use Tiktok on a daily basis to learn from different videos, although it is a video and picture platform, you can also indulge in shopping and market! Tiktok is very convenient for most of us since it is accessible and you can interact with mostly anyone!

With the stress and exhausting day, you might want to chill and relax and here's come Netflix to ease your problem! With unlimited options to choose from, movies, series, documentaries and many more! I use Netflix almost everyday to chill and take a pause from things, although at times I can't mind the time and that sums up the rest. I love watching documentaries that reside to the current happenings in the country like Inside the World's Toughest Prison and the like. I often find comfort in medical dramas that can inspire me, in fact I have watched almost 20+ medical related dramas like Dr. Romantic, Grey's Anatomy and Hospital Playlist. Having it is like worth the price since you have everything in your phone or television.

Besides the many platforms I use to socialize, one of the most important for me is my search engine. Especially on finding new things and answering questions with a click of a button you can have many answers. I use this everyday especially as a student to answer my queries and insights on things, this is complex and it can cater many tabs as one. In fact all of my media lifestyle can be opened through here, so I think it is very essential to have a search engine to have that information in a click of a button.

As someone that is brought by technology I can attest that these media are not just something that we need, but something that can help us in many various ways. As we are in a digital age staying connected and having various media as a form of information gathering bring a pivotal role in socialization and leisure. Not just for fun, but these media act as a tool for us to interact through this age.

I like these media since it gives me comfort and happiness in line with how as it should be used, it is more convenient and efficient when using these. From various videos whether entertainment or educational, pictures that showcase stories and the reality and the news of what is happening these things is what makes me like these media. Connectivity and engagement, and finding new areas of interest, these media show endless possibilities. A form of expression and freedom. It is not just media, but a thing where it revolves around me with information and connections around this digital world.

These media help me in my everyday life, where it makes everything more easier. Being connected, gathering information and being a leisure. I believe that these media influence me in a good way. But, it all comes to seeing the reality that not all of you can see here is good for you. Since media is a vast and complex one it resides on the idea that media is everywhere.

Media influences me with how it is good to be someone that can voice out their thoughts, it shows me be inspired by what I see, from having constant ideas and practicality. It involves being organized in thoughts and make things easier. But, knowing how media can also be something that could consume you up, you need to have limitations and awareness, I learned in media that read before you believe. In that sense, I can make media more of an influence of good, promoting harmony, good influence and literacy in this modern age.
