         <title>Project Wet</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Fourth graders study the water cycle and weather at the beginning of the school year.&nbsp; This would be used to show how water moves throughout the cycle as a visual simulation for students.&nbsp; The activities directly related to the water cycle are engaging and could be a great opener to this unit for my students.&nbsp; I could even see this as a station during the reading block where students can use what they have learned to inspire informational writing responses.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can use Legends of Learning as one of my station activities during math.&nbsp; This would allow me to integrate science topics during math in addition to simply playing math games.&nbsp; I think this would be a great addition and motivator for students who have met their IReady requirements.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like to use the videos and the quiz as a whole group activity.&nbsp; As students are watching the video, they can fill out the accompanying handout as the video plays.&nbsp; Each lesson also comes with a quiz.&nbsp; They are sometimes on Kahoot which makes even taking a quiz fun for students.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like idea of using this resource during the reading block to show summarizing of a story.&nbsp; I usually have students draw out story boards, but with “Create a Story” on SCRATCH, they could create a digital story board and include animations.&nbsp; This would help to engage the students who do not like to draw.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would use the strategies in the “How Do I Teach?” and “Did They Learn?” sections to help guide my whole group instruction.&nbsp; Some of the sample lesson plans would be a great way to start out teaching a particular standard to freshen up the way I have always been teaching that topic.&nbsp; For example, using the GSE Planning Cards for Three-Dimensional Planning when I start a new unit can help ensure that I include Science/Engineering and cross cutting concepts in my lessons.&nbsp; The other great thing about these cards is that I can also allow my students to pull cards and work on them in small groups.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This resource has lots of self-directed PDs and Webinars that I found helpful as I am on my way to becoming a STEM teacher.&nbsp; I can get ideas on how to develop meaningful phenomena and view some that have already been created. &nbsp; The climate change page provides lots of resources that I can use with my students during our weather and climate unit.&nbsp; I can see how to effectively teach this topic and use one of the many teaching tools that have been collected.&nbsp; I especially like the “Things to Consider” and “Recommended Actions You Can Take” that comes with each tool.</div>]]></description>
