Factors for a good-quality job: earnings quality; labour market security; and quality of the working environment. In the first two of these three aspects, Germany excels. But they lag behind in the quality of the working environment.19% of German workers report difficult and stressful working conditions. This is isn't good because it has been shown in a study that workers that are under those conditions suffer more easily from physical and mental health issues, it therefore also increases sickness absences by 40%.
