There rarely bodies of water, due to little perception. These animals can all go a long to with out water. 
Plants : Desert thyme and cactus. These plants have adapted to the harsh conditions by being able to conserve water. The desert thyme only needs some water to stay growing and alive. looks shrub and dead like but can maintain during extreme conditions. The cactus is able to survive the desert conditions by being able to store its water inside the cactus's thick skin. Flowers will grow on the outside and will provide for a food source for other organisms.
