My most memorable moment in Danshu is during 2022 Chinese New Year celebration when I got in to the performing group which is performing " LALISA ". I did not knew much people there and felt very awkward. But the seniors were very friendly and approached me help me out with my nerves very talking to me and try to make me not so worried and nervous. Our CCA was selected to go and perform for the public for the National Day celebrations. This was a new experience for me as I had not performed outside of school, in front of complete strangers before. During the rehearsal, we needed to adapt to the stage, as it was very different from our school's one. Everyone had to work together to mark out positions and get used to the space. During the day of the performance, all of us were nervous and excited. The teachers and many family members were there to cheer us on! It was definitely challenging as we had to choreograph the whole dance by ourselves. I’m yinke from 1R1. I’ve been in danshu for almost a year and it was honestly a memorable experience. Although the trainings might be a little tiring at times, but it’s worth it in the end as we always put up a wonderful performance together! I would say my most memorable experience in danshu would be learning the dance as it helped me bond with many danshu members and the new moves were also really fun to do. Me and my friends all tried to teach each other moves, which helped us to strengthen our relationship. When we did not the moves, we are able to ask our friendly seniors! They are always kind and willing to help the little ones like us.
