I think that students tend to violate commandement number 1 most often. Commandement one states, "Thou shalt not use a computer to harm other people." I think this also goes in hand with commandement ten which has to do with using computers in ways that respects others. Many students use computers and social media sites to bully others. Teenaged students and nowadays even younger students use social media as a means to cyberbully.

I think these violations occur because in this day in age social media has become the primary means of communication, especially between schoolaged and teenaged students. Teenagers are mostly engaged in social media platforms and stay updated through these sites. I believe that they violate commandments one and ten the most because cyberbullying is their form of "fitting in" and climbing their socalled social ladder. Students also try their hardest to fit in at school so they would do anything regardless of how bad the action is. Also, people believe that they cannot be traced if they are sitting behind a screen which is why more people think they can get away with it.

I think it is really hard to completely eliminate such an unethical behavior because so many people all over the world partake in it. I feel if walls were put up and rules were enforced, people would just find new ways to get around it. With that being said, there could be better rules enforced and laws put in place to prevent such unethical behaviors. Also, schools can do a better job at explaining that such actions can hurt students' careers in the future. I feel that not many young teens and students realize that breaking these rules can impact their future in negative ways. Lastly, teaching students about these commandments and how to abide by them at an early age would also be helpful.
