Students are also working on their Group 4 Project - writing research questions,  illustrate the international nature of science (NOS), create an infographic of the their research regarding the group focus, energy. Document the increasing cooperation required to address global issues involving science and technology... outline three aims that are to be addressed in the Group 4 Project:
To develop and apply 21st century communication skills in the study of science
To become critically aware, as global citizens, of the ethical implications of using science and technology
To develop an understanding of the relationships between the scientific disciplines and their influences on other areas of knowledge

Instructional Strategy:
I am trying to make the transition as smooth as possible so the distance learning structure will look very similar to the in-class style. For each major topic, a Google Slides presentation will be created which houses the do now, class notes, examples, videos, and practice problems. For the purpose of distance learning, I will screen record myself actually progressing through the presentation while I add my commentary and highlight important points. For all practice problems and examples, I will screen record myself completing the problems on an iPad so that students can actually see and hear me solve the problems. Students are free to progress through the presentation at their own pace. Each major topic will be accompanied by a set of AP practice multiple choice questions that are assigned on the College Board's online classroom. This allows students to take a quiz-like assignment and actually get feedback on why they got the questions right or wrong. All worksheets with practice part 2 problems will need to be submitted to the google classroom. For keeping tabs on participation, Flipgrid prompts will be recorded asking students to submit video responses of their comments about the topic. Quizzes can be given in Google Forms for each major topic.
