         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used Smore to create a "newsletter" to recap my Creative Writing class from a previous Friday, and introduce our activities for a new week. My students really loved having a more visual, multimedia itinerary of things they had to do, displayed to them in the order they were expected to complete them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used ThingLink to map out a multimedia lesson for Multicultural Literature on the Iroquois creation myth, "The World on the Turtles Back." I tried to curate it in a way that students could click on (almost) any link and be able to start their learning from there, either with a video, background information, or  the written story. I also included a button with analysis questions that students would have to answer as an assessment.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I made a Digital Choice Board using Google Slides. When in presentation mode, each bubble on the first slide is linked to a different slide that has a final project prompt for my Creative Writing course. The prompts vary from fiction, poetry and non-fiction, and try to appeal to each of the multiple intelligences.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used Quizizz to create an interactive direct instruction lesson for the introduction to Screenplay writing in Creative Writing. Instead of using the typical PowerPoint, students were able to interact with the game-ified direct instruction. This broke up note taking time and kept students engaged.&nbsp;It also allowed me to incorporate a quick recap assessment at the end of the instruction.</div>]]></description>
