However, I did spend a year volunteering for Voices of Hope answering calls on their Crisis Line for about a year. I typically worked overnights, and, though it was sometimes difficult, mostly because there were a lot of problems that I was neither able to nor qualified to solve completely, it was extremely rewarding.

On the weekends, my boyfriend and I enjoy going dancing at Latin nights. One of my favorite things to do, even though I am far away from the mountains now, is going hiking. Currently, I am halfway through a double major in Psychology and Gender Studies and Nebraska Wesleyan University. I hope to one day get a job as some kind of counselor, though I am unsure of what exactly I want to do with my future degree right now. Currently, I work full-time as an assistant manager for Tip Top Tux in Omaha, which is decent, but I miss being a barista at Starbucks.
