My first task in the hotel is I has been explained about the hotel more detailed especially about what type of rooms that being offered by the hotel to the customer. The explanation and briefing has been told by the senior staff that is Mr Anip Hanafi.
The total number of rooms that the hotel has offered is 21 rooms. There are five type of rooms that is family room with no window (RM100 per night) , family rooms with window (RM110 per night) , twin sharing with non window rooms (RM70 per night) ,  standard room with no window (RM70 per night) and standard room with window (RM80 per night).
My task today is only to understand and memorize the type of rooms with their price

My working hour started at 9.00 am until 5.00 pm. Today I have been put to the Reception Department. I have been told about how to give the best treat and soft skills to react with the customer.

Greeting the customer with smile is the most basic things in serving the customer. Use the most simple words to ensure the customer understand what is we trying to tell them especially in promotion method. I still in the reception department because the manager want me to learn about this department as clear I can. I also do the same thing as yesterday such as answer the phone call and continue learn about the promotion skill that need to use when facing with the customer.
The new things I learn today is about checking the room after the customer left and check out from the hotel. This is important because usually customer maybe will accidentally left their important item in the rooms such as mobile phone , laptop , handbag , gold ring and many more. I take this opportunity to see the room and what type of the decoration that this budget hotel used to satisfied their customer. Puan Rokiah is the only staff in the house keeping department and she is very nice person. She tells me that my duty only keep the hotel clean as comfortable as possible because it is the main factor that customer always concern.
