         <description><![CDATA[<div>Prior to the study DNA cheek swabs were completed at the participants homes to confirm the children's zygosity.  The procedure involved comparing the IQ results of monozygotic and dizygotic twins, siblings and biological parents as this allowed hereditary effects to be analysed to determine the type of correlation.<br>The parents were given the Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices test which covered a range of cognitive abilities which they completed in separate rooms in their own time.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Based on Netherlands twin registry, 214 families was twin and additional siblings (between aged 9 - 14) only 112 participated  in study though, out of those 112, there was; 23 MZ males, 23 DZ females, 25 MZ males and 21 DZ females and 20 SZ of the opposite sexes. The children all had MRI scans. There was no significance in education levels of the mothers. 103 out of the 112 had full siblings. Parents give consent for themselves and the children. </div>]]></description>
