Question: In life, how do you know if the decision you choose is correct or not?

The only way for me to know whether my decisions are correct or not are through the consequences of said decision. An example of decisions that may be correct or incorrect in hindsight is how I spend my allowance. I can either buy myself good food for a hefty price, or go for a cheaper option. It is important for me to think of the consequences for either decision. If I choose to buy good food, I would probably have insufficient money for my daily commute. If I save, I would have a less nourishing meal but it ensures I can get home.

In summation, thinking of the possible consequences of each action better influences how I make a decision, whether it may be a minor or life-changing.

In life, how do you know if the decision you choose is correct or not?

For me, I would know if the decision I chose was correct or wrong by looking at the outcome and consequences after the decision. For example, let's say I am about to study for an upcoming test tomorrow but instead of studying for a good amount of time, I procrastinated and only studied for a shorter period. My score on that said test will determine whether the decision I made was correct or not. I know making decisions can be hard so when I make a tough decision and turns out to be wrong I don't dwell on it hoping that time will rewind. Instead, I learn from my mistakes, and the next time I make a decision I look at the possible outcomes and scenarios that I have experienced from the past, this helps me make more correct decisions.

For me, in order for you to know if the decision you made is correct is when the results or outcomes are the same to your expectations or close enough. It can also be satisfactory if not to you expectations. To know if you decision is wrong is when the results differ from what you are expecting or not that close to what you've been expecting. However, there is also a concept where there is no right or wrong decision, it is sometimes a decision where either you, others or everyone will be benefited from that decision. And mostly or sometimes, the decision of one person will be determined by themselves whether is it right wrong, for the decision maker holds all authority to the outcome of their decisions.

There are times in life when we must make difficult decisions, whether because our emotions are interfering with our ability to make the right choice . For example, letting go of something that is bad for you but dear to you, or consuming junk food, which I know tastes nice but is bad for your health. For me, when I make a decision and want to know if I made the right one, I prefer a rational choice over an emotional one, which may be difficult at first but is eventually beneficial to me and I will know that my decisions were correct if it will not harm me in the long term but will instead provide peace and growth. At the end of the day, we make mistakes, which is why life is our lesson; we are kept in that situation until we learn from it.

Identifying whether it's the right decision I make is comparable to having a hard time running through a complex maze of darkness. In the process of decision making, all of my choices get measured based on my individual goals and values, so I know for sure that they are in line with what I truly believe in. Sometimes I use rational analysis, capturing what is good for me right now and what may affect me later, other times I trust my intuition and compare to my previous experiences. This option would of course not give a green light for my inviolability, but it will give me direction and courage to confront the difficulties of life.

Question: In life, how do you know if the decision you choose is correct or not?

Life throws many challenges at us, and part of those challenges is being able to decide what to do. Picking the right decision could be very hard; we just have to be able to analyze and think about the consequences that may lead to these choices. Personally, a lot of the decisions I make are purely based on instinct, or what my heart tells me to do. Of course, I make sure that there is some logic in the way I do things. I always think twice about whether the decisions I make can be beneficial to my life or to the people around me. We are not always able to pick the right decision; we just have to learn which one would have a less negative impact on us. Choosing the wrong decisions could be good for us sometimes; it helps shape us as people and can be a way for us to learn and grow. No one in life is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. We should use this as an opportunity to learn and better ourselves as people. These decisions will eventually lead us to a good life.

"What if the decision I made was bad, what if it was cruel, what if it will bring negative results" These thoughts always pop up it in my head every time. Even though I always think deeply about my life decisions as long as they are important, I can never tell myself if they are correct.
