Finding joy in little things we do. Finding the best people to teach our 280000 children. Working in such a way so that we don't lose out on any children but add more to our list. Make sure there are more students like Navya who can dream better and bigger. Lastly, plan for long-term engagement for the valuable stakeholders.

How about we treat crises like an inability to breathe? Will we stall it for some other time, or will we do all we possibly can to remove the crises?
It all comes down to what is most important to us. So whatever I think or say, it's my actions which will give away what I truly value. And while I take the crises head on, let me never lose sight of joy of life. Gratitude, for me, is the most powerful agent for change.

hearing students talk about who should be their teachers + "Poverty should only exist in the Musuems" + What do we prep for and what should the other teams prep for? Take out time for zooming out every week atleast :)

I'm thinking about how Abhik said that we need to be proximate to our kids. Whatever we do, it needs to be done keeping our kids at the center. It's good to see us starting our Stepback with kids (Tejaswini and Umer) and ending the second day with another kid (Navya). I hope we continue to talk to kids, our biggest stakeholders, even during crazy recruitment deadlines.

A few things are staying with me. "if we cannot imagine it, we cannot achieve it". "We have got to embrace the messy and chaos", "keep planting them seed" :) While all this frightens me (goals, strategy, ops, etc.) we've got to just keep it rooted in the real stuff - the real problem, the real people who's lives we're trying to impact. And somehow that just makes it all possible.

I feel like I am able to understand and learn the big picture, why and then move into my role as an RM. I am a little more confident about the process, now. Takeaway: Find a way to always be a didi to my kids first, and base my decisions or choices as an RM on that. Listening to what our kids need and finding such leaders.
