In this story, there were a lot of sensory details. Ex. "The pillow rose and floated under her pleasant as a hammock in a light wind." My group also discussed the use of imagery and the fact that there was a small amount of tension between granny and the doctor.

group 2 found it to be ironic that what the husband planned for her came around full circle and got him. tbh he deserved it he's been abusing her and making her feel scared to get her out of the house (bc he was having an affair)

She ( his wife) was a hard working woman who really deserved better

In this story, there was description. When the author stated “Blue flowers with velvety ridges and a sweetsuds bush full of the brown, fragrant buds. (Walker 4)”. You can easily visualize this in your head.
