TV is finally here and it's broadcasting all kinds of crazy stuff.  The war in Nam is on and people in the U.S. are ticked off because they realize how bad war is now and lets be honest Nam sucked and was probably pointless.  TV broadcasts sports, shows, and news though so YAY! First there was the Harlem Renaissance which was all about African Americans embracing their culture and a lot of that had to do with Jazz music. Then rock and roll was the roots the counter culture movement, which was a bunch of hippies and young people doing drugs, listening to music, and rebelling against the conformity of the 1950s.
