In "I Shouldn't Be Alive", The father and son went a whole lot of disasters throughout the whole episode. First, the father had an accident "swimming" in the river. It looked like he was trying to swim his way out of the water but couldn't get that much progress out of his action. The river was very cold, making the father get hypothermia. Luckily, The son was able to warm him up, but this was only the first stage of what's to happen. After the "close-to-death" experience, Both the father and son went to look for shelter. Predators around the rough terrain were surrounding them (Bears, Wolves, etc) making this survival a bit tough, especially since they want to go home. After more time passes, the son decides to split up (away from the father, which is a bad idea.) Blake (the son), after splitting up, ends up near a body of water. He then tries to start a fire for the authorities to know. With the father without any protection, with the never ending changes of extreme weather, it's difficult to find a perfect shelter. Leading up to this, The father dies due to old age, and can't do any other minimum task to stay alive. Overall, both the father and the son stayed alive not only for themselves, but for their families.

When they got on the river it stared to change their was ice, they tried to paddle around it but the currents was to strong the son had no control over the paddle of the boat. the dad had imbrues (cuts) do to the cause of the strong river he was also freezing, the farther had hypothermia the son was trying to leave the dad to go get help, Its been 3 days the dad had no food the son had loose hope, as he made the fire he saw a plane, he tried to get there attention after hours they came back looking for him they gave the son a walkie-talkie so they can talk with him. In the end they found the dad and they was together

Some of the extreme circumstances was when the father nearly died from hypothermia but his son warmed him up by setting up a fire with the lighter he still had from when there boat crashed. The father and son were getting a lot of cuts from ice, and their body temperatures. Blake (the son) told his father that he was going to look for help and that he should stay here which was a terrible idea. When Blake went to go look for help he was having a hard time because he came a cross a grizzly bear and had nothing to do but run. After a bunch of survivals a plane\helicopter came and helped Blake. Blake told the pilot to look for his dad. Later that day the pilot found Blake's father and was rescued as well as Blake.

The son and his father were swept under a block of ice and drowned, unable to breathe. After the son got out of the water, he had to find his father because he was still under water. When his father got out of the water, his father began to suffer from hypothermia. His son took out a lighter and lit a fire to warm his father. And they built their own shelter from the branches. On the second day, the son left his father in order to get help, to help his father. As the son was walking he saw a bear and hid until the bear left and continued on his way. On the fourth day, he was sleeping after the son heard the sound of a helicopter flying towards him, so he went towards it to ask for help, and indeed the plane landed and he was asking for help in finding his father, the pilot. He found the son's father and met him again and returned to his family . Overall, both the father and the son stayed alive not only for themselves, but for their families.

In the video, what inspired the father and son throughout the survival to survive is reuniting together at the end of the whole 5 days of survival. They went through extreme circumstances, they experience of horrible things that effected there self's. They experienced a lot of struggle stopping the boat/staying on the boat from the incontrollable water. Eventually they got pulled under the cold ice, losing the ability to breath, getting injured cuts. Eventually, they got out of it, but the dad had Hypothermia from the ice, which can caused death for him. After 1-2 days of survival together, Blake (dads son) decided to leave his dad a try getting help. This was a major problem because being separated alone can get them in big trouble, like dealing with bears, animals that could be wild. After a bunch of survivals trying to survive from the weather and animals, eventually a plane/helicopter passed by and helped them.

Even Though, in the video "I Shouldn't Be Alive" the father and son went through strong currents of water, going into a waterfall, losing all their belongs, under a ice shell and they couldn't breathe and they was bleeding very badly, being separated during the ice shelf, The Father getting hypothermia, and being exposed to bears, wolfs and wild animals, and not being able to eat for 2-3 days. Something that inspired the father and son with the will survive is that they were not giving up and and tried to do everything so that someone would save them. The son had to leave his father alone in order to save both of them. And this is a very wise thing to do. If he had not done so, they would have died. The extreme circumstances in which people find themselves is when they were left in the forest without anything and without hope for help. They wanted to cross the river and get to one city, but it happened that they discovered an ice sheet and fell under it. Barely they got to land. But it turned out that the 65 year old father has hypothermia. The son needed to undress his father to warm him, and then light the fire. As a result, they were left without anything and they had nothing to do. They went into the forest and made a refuge for themselves. They lit a fire and waited. The next day, the son left his father and went to the nearest town. But a few days later, it turned out that the river was too big, and he could not cross it. As a result, without hope, the son had to eat all kinds of beetles and spiders, because he was hungry. After that, he lit a fire in the hope that someone would see him. And so it happened! The plane saw him and saved him. They also flew to their father and they picked up their father. This is what I consider to be an extreme circumstance!
