Although science can be confusing at times when getting a particular eye color, hair color, or certain ears.  My thinking changed when we completed the natural selection lab with the blitz bunny. Just to get all floppy eared bunnies was a challenge. Now I know that the scientific inquiry helps the students to think outside the box. While completing module 1 notebook I compared the two scientific methods and scientific inquiry. With both you do come up with the conclusion just in different ways. I think that inquiry base will be effective in the classroom as it will get students to think outside of the box. I also knew that for something to be alive it must reproduce. After completing the Module 2 notebook, I learned more about the life cycle. I learned that it starts off with a tiny cell and grows bigger from there. I just completed a CT assignment scientific inquiry observation where the students looked into a microscope to see the cell in ditch water and a clear puddle of water. The experiment was very engaging. Now that I have taken this class and we are halfway through the semester, I will miss this class. I like to challenge myself, think hard about what is being asked, and find the answers. I enjoyed completing the craft tracker assignments, where I had to sit and observe science experiments. It has taught me how to challenge myself and to keep digging for more information. I has helped me to over come my shyness by asking different teachers if I could sit in their classrooms to observe their class. To have a successful long-term career requires overcoming challenges in a professional, organized way, so apprenticeships equip you with those skills.
