This higher amount of water circulating in the atmosphere could also explain the increase in rainfall that is being detected in some polar areas, where the fact that it is raining instead of snowing is speeding up the melting.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Global warming and climate change are facts. The world needs to reduce or eliminate emissions, and fast. But while many of the problems inhibiting effective climate action are political, they aren’t really about politicians failing to do anything. There has been plenty of climate action over the last couple of decades. So far, however, it’s largely failed. And unfortunately, for somebody, global warming results in a new and promising business opportunity. Global warming is heating many sectors, like oil exploration, insurance services, and land acquisition.<br><br>The melting of glaciers results in shipping routes and, consequently, oil exploration opportunities in an unexplored land, for example, in Greenland and northern Canada, by oil companies&nbsp; (Shell, BP, Deutsch, and others).<br><br>Insurers and land acquisition can be favored by global warming, for example, Forest fires in Colorado (where private firefighting companies make a lot of money), calamities in China, desertification in Spain, food shortages in Senegal, floods (where land is sold below market prices).<br><br>And with that, we ask ourselves “Is Money the Oxygen on which the Fire of Global Warming Burns?”<br><br><br>https://www.newyorker.com/news/<br>https://www.ecodebate.com.br/</div>]]></description>
