I’m scared and I’m worried. My dad said that he thinks that Florida will have its peak in 2 weeks and things will get better from there. All we can do is hope for the best. I just hope everyone I know stays safe. My friends, teachers and family. My neighborhood is doing well. We have social hours every week. Everyone in the community comes out to their drive ways and we all talk and chat. Almost 22/40 of the units in our complex came out. That means it was a hit. We have different themes. One of our themes was disco night. I think it’s cool and hopefully we continue it. It’s brought our community together. Everyone Brings their own music, snacks and chairs and we talk about our weeks. There aren’t any kids in my neighborhood so I don’t really go, especially since my hair looks like this . I don’t really know what will happen. So far golf courses are essential and our community pool is open. My trip to go see my friends in Boston for my birthday was cancelled. That was the only thing I’ve been looking forward to. I think I’ll just be at home for my birthday. I don’t really have a lot of friends here so I don’t think anyone would be able to drive by. Hopefully my trip gets rescheduled and everything gets better in summer. I hope for the best and keep an open mind. I am happy to go back to the pool and our gym. I try to take walks in between classes to get some fresh air as well. Yesterday I biked to see my best friend, Miel who goes to Pine Crest. We all sat on her driveway and talked for a while. I just wish that I could see my friends. This whole move has made me feel split apart from them. Wow time does fly by fast. It feels like just yesterday it was March back at Ms.Tacher’s classroom. The year is speeding up and I think things are getting better. They are opening things up, and life goes on. I won’t forget this experience. Schooling at home and being locked at home. I will be able to say years from now, I lived through this. Summer is coming and I hope to see my friends. I learned through it all, to live in the moment and do whatever I want. Take the risk. Do it for you. I’m ready for this summer. At first I didn’t think I would be able to survive quarantine but now I don’t even want to go back to school.
