I think the two theories that convinced me the most are the theory that claimed yawns are contagious, and the one that claimed that yawns are psycological. First of all, I yawned when my friend or family yawned. I've exprienced it, so I'm sticking with the first theory. Lastly, the second theory, also convinced me. "...suggests that yawning is "associated with the change of a behavioral state - wakefulness to sleep, sleep to wakefulness, boredom to alertness."
